MLK_Flyer_resizeBrotherhood. Peace. Adversity. Triumph. Love. The themes associated with Dr. Martin Luther King are well-known, and over forty years after his death, still timely and relevant. With gospel and spiritual music courtesy of our friends from the Apostolic Church of God Sanctuary Choir, and two Chicago premieres (The Bass Whisperer performed by Grammy® Award Winning bassist Victor Wooten and Michael Gandolfi’s Fourth Chickasaw Variations) this annual celebration of Dr. King’s life and work will leave you inspired and uplifted!

Plus, join us during intermission as students from Perspectives Charter School activate Symphony Center in a peace rally and explore an exhibition of several rarely seen images of Dr. King from the Chicago History Museum archives at both venues.
