Swing Set Drum Kit @ DuPage Children’s Museum

Chicago Sinfonietta and DuPage Children's Museum are joining forces to bring West Suburban families a full weekend of rhythms, beats, art and fun! Visit the museum March 4-6 to take a spin on Chicago artist Dave Ford's amazing Swing Set Drum Kit and make your own percussion instrument to bring to our concert on March 12th at Wentz Hall. At BYOB: Bring Your Own Beat, everyone will become a member of the Sinfonietta when the whole audience is invited to play on our big finale.

Also, don't miss a special performance on Sunday at 2pm by our West-African Drumming trio featuring Chicago Sinfonietta's principal percussionist and Education/Outreach Program Director Jeff Handley who will get you dancing, singing and playing along!
