Maestro Paul Freeman founded the Chicago Sinfonietta in 1987 to promote diversity, inclusion and innovation in classical music. The Sinfonietta flourished under his leadership for over twenty-four years and its many programs impacted the lives of countless children and adults.

This year’s Unmasked Ball kicks off the Chicago Sinfonietta’s milestone 25th Anniversary with an ambitious fundraising goal of $500,000, benefiting its concert season and education outreach programs. With its new Music Director, Maestro Mei-Ann Chen, the orchestra will celebrate its 25th year by looking forward to the bright future of this incredible, essential ensemble.
