A roundtable discussion of this fascinating holiday dating back hundreds of years and celebrated to this day in Mexico, Spain, Brazil and many cultures throughout the world to honor departed loved ones. Northwestern University Professor Drew Davies will discuss the music and the myth of Día de los Muertos with acclaimed musicians Denis Azabagic and Eugenia Moliner, the Sinfonietta’s special guests at our Día de los Muertos concert at Harris Theater on November 1.
