We have all lost people we love and music often gives voice to our feelings. The guitar in Rodrigo’s Concierto de Aranjuez articulates both the profound sadness of the human experience and the joy and exuberance of life. The music of Mexican composers Márquez, Revueltas, and Cortes captures the spirit that lay at the heart of Día de los Muertos. This specially priced concert, guest conducted by Maestro Hector Guzman, explores this rich, cultural tradition and gives all of us, friends and family, a chance to fondly remember those who have meant so much to us.
