The Chicago Sinfonietta is our nation’s most diverse orchestra; there is no other orchestra like it in the country.For twenty years, we’ve provided innovative concerts that have attracted and entertained multicultural audiences from all
walks of life, while supporting minority musicians and composers by giving them the opportunity to showcase their talent.
The Sinfonietta’s educational outreach programs, Audience Matters and SEED, provided at no cost to thousands of school children, continue to expand and reach more young people. Their success confirms how important these programs are for the students involved, especially in schools where education in the arts is limited at best.
